White Porcelain Horseshoe Teacup

Popular during the Ming and Qing dynasties, the horseshoe cup was named for its flared shape that resembles a horseshoe with its large opening and small recessed base.

The white porcelain is fired at a temperature of 1350°C (2462°F), resulting in a semi-translucent material that beautifully highlights the tea’s colour.
